Villa Verde

On this expansive rural equestrian property, Mediterranean-inspired planting does the heavy lifting, bringing character and creating more intimate garden spaces.

Slender cypress trees give the design its vertical punctuation and its strongest reference to the Italian estate tradition. Around them, structured garden rooms unfold across the grounds — clipped hedging defining the geometry, climbing vines softening walls, fragrant seasonal perennials layered through the beds to bring colour and scent. Sweeping lawns connect the rooms and provide the openness that countryside properties demand.

A pool and outdoor living spaces sit at the centre of the estate, with equestrian facilities and open paddocks extending the property into the working landscape beyond. Formal and functional in equal measure.
