Coastal Edge

Coastal Edge

An infinity pool with a raised acrylic edge sits flush against the ocean horizon, the boundary between pool and sea almost imperceptible from the house.

Sculpted low hedging frames the space laterally without interrupting the view, and layered coastal planting softens the architecture at its edges. Stone pathways connect the living spaces to the water with minimal interruption. The material palette of stone, glass and clipped green kept deliberately restrained to let the outlook lead.

Light, water, and a quietly confident sense of place. This is a garden that understands restraint and celebrates that beachfront view of the Hauraki Gulf.
